Connect Postwith to your AI
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Postwith lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps post your photos and videos to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, schedule them, and tell you how they did. Your AI shows you every post first and never posts without your OK.
1. Connect your social accounts
- Sign in at app.postwith.app with your email. We send a six-digit code; there’s no password.
- Open Accounts and connect the accounts you want to post to. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok open as each network finishes reviewing Postwith.
- Nothing to connect yet? Turn on Practice mode in Accounts. Your AI can then make, schedule and cancel posts, and nothing goes out publicly.
2. Add Postwith to your AI
Every AI app uses the same link: https://mcp.postwith.app/mcp
Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
- Open Customize › Connectors.
- Choose + Add › Add custom connector, name it Postwith, paste the link and choose Add.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Postwith and choose Allow.
Claude Code
Run npx postwith claude-code (or claude mcp add --transport http postwith https://mcp.postwith.app/mcp), then type /mcp in Claude Code and sign in.
ChatGPT
In Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, an admin or developer adds the link as a custom MCP server in developer mode. ChatGPT Plus and Pro only allow posting through apps in ChatGPT’s app directory, and Postwith isn’t listed there yet.
Other AI apps
Any app that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in (OAuth) can use the same link.
3. Ask
- “Post this photo to Instagram and Pinterest tomorrow at 9am.”
- “Make this video a YouTube Short and a TikTok for Friday at 6pm.”
- “Post my last three photos as one Instagram carousel, the dessert first.”
- “Share this photo as an Instagram Story tonight at 7.”
- “Post these four photos to TikTok as one photo post, with TikTok’s music.”
- “What’s scheduled this week?” or “Cancel Friday’s post.”
- “How did my posts do this month, and what should I post next?”
- “I have a video on my phone. Give me a link to add it.”
Want something to try it with? Your AI can use these public samples: sample photo (https://postwith.app/samples/sample-photo.jpg) and sample video (https://postwith.app/samples/sample-video.mp4).
You stay in control
- Drafts first. Your AI makes a draft, shows you each network’s version, and schedules it only after you say yes. Replies to comments work the same way: your AI shows you the reply first.
- Your choices stay yours. For TikTok and YouTube, your AI asks who can see each post and whether a video is made for kids. It never answers for you. A post is labeled as made with AI on TikTok or Instagram only when you ask for it.
- Cancel anytime. Your AI or the dashboard can stop a scheduled post. Anything already live stays live.
- No passwords shared. Your AI never sees your social sign-ins. It gets a Postwith-only connection you can end anytime in Postwith › Settings › Your AI, or by removing the connector from your AI app.
- Everything in one place. Posts your AI makes show in your Postwith dashboard like any other.

Good to know
- Files you attach in a chat don’t reach Postwith. AI apps don’t pass attachments to connectors. Ask your AI for an upload link instead: it opens a page where you pick the file on your phone or computer, and the link works once, for a day. In a terminal,
npx postwith upload <file> <link>sends it without the page. You can also upload in Postwith › Media or give your AI a public link. - One video, or up to 10 photos, per post. Several photos make a carousel on Instagram, one post on Facebook and a photo post on TikTok, in the order you give them; YouTube takes one video, and Pinterest one photo or video. Photos can be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB, and are saved as JPEG. Videos can be MP4 or MOV, up to 50 MB.
- A TikTok photo post shows its title (up to 90 characters) and gets a sound TikTok picks, which you can change in TikTok. Ask your AI to leave the sound out if you’d rather.
- Photos for Instagram posts can be portrait 4:5 to landscape 1.91:1. YouTube needs a title of up to 100 characters, and a square or vertical video of up to 3 minutes becomes a Short. Each Pin goes on a board.
- An Instagram Story is one photo, or one video of 3 to 60 seconds. It shows without the caption, which your other accounts still get, and disappears after 24 hours. Stories don’t take Instagram’s AI label.
- Posts can be scheduled up to a year ahead.
- Practice posts show in your dashboard but don’t count toward results or streaks.
If something goes wrong
- An account says “Signed out”: reconnect it in Postwith › Accounts.
- Your AI says the connection ended: connect Postwith again in your AI app’s connector settings.
- A network didn’t take a post: ask your AI what happened. It shows the network’s own reason and what to change.
- Your AI can’t read or answer comments: accounts connected before comments came to Postwith need a reconnect. In Postwith › Accounts, choose the network under Add an account, sign in as the same account and allow comments.
